Its mission is to facilitate successful placements and contribute to the industry’s growth in the South West.
What is the Role?
They are seeking a motivated and results-driven permanent Recruitment Consultant to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will proactively manage the end-to-end recruitment process while fostering strong relationships with both clients and candidates. The company boasts an incredible temp function but now needs someone with perm experience to join the team to both manage the perm requirements from current clients and develop new ones.
Candidates from both technical and administrative recruitment backgrounds in the mechanical and electrical fields are encouraged to apply.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 12 months experience in a recruitment agency, preferably within the mechanical and electrical sector.
  • Commutable distance from Basildon
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and recruitment software.
  • A genuine interest in the mechanical and electrical industries and their job markets.
  • Business development skills; sales experience would be a bonus.
Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain a robust network of candidates within the mechanical and electrical sectors.
  • Identify and understand client needs to provide tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Conduct thorough candidate screenings, interviews, and assessments to match talent with client requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Utilize job boards, social media, and industry contacts to effectively source candidates.
  • Stay updated on market trends and changes within the mechanical and electrical industries to better serve clients.
  • Manage the recruitment process from initial contact to placement, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and clients alike.
