Description

About Ochre Health

For over 20 years, Ochre Recruitment has been the Group’s specialist medical recruitment agency, connecting doctors with locum and permanent opportunities across Australia and New Zealand while supporting the workforce needs of external healthcare partners. The Ochre Health Group also operates a national network of medical centres across metropolitan, regional and rural communities in Australia.

About the role

This is a hands on recruitment role replacing a high performing leaver, where you’ll manage your own specialty desk (GP), build strong relationships with doctors and clients, and turn opportunities into successful placements.

You’ll be responsible for building and managing your candidate pipeline, responding to client needs, matching doctors to locum and permanent roles, and developing new business opportunities. You’ll speak with doctors every day, understand what they’re looking for, guide them through the recruitment process and keep them engaged for future opportunities.

You’ll also work closely with a Para Consultant who will support you with advertising, administration and credentialing, allowing you to stay focused on relationships, recruitment activity and commercial outcomes. The rest of the team and the Ochre Group are based in Australia.

Success in the role comes from being proactive, organised and commercially minded, knowing where to focus your time, building a strong network and consistently delivering great outcomes for doctors, clients and the business.

Skills and experience:

  • Two years previous recruitment experience, ideally within an agency environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills, with a professional and transparent approach.
  • Commercially minded, resilient and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target driven environment.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to manage priorities and work independently.
  • A collaborative team player who is happy to share candidates, ideas and opportunities across the wider team.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A genuine desire to keep learning, develop recruitment capability and continuously improve.
