Since our establishment, we have built a reputation for professionalism, integrity, and delivery. We are now looking to appoint a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our expanding Birmingham office.
The Role

As a Senior Recruitment Consultant at Skill Connect, you will manage a 360-degree recruitment desk, with responsibility for developing new business as well as servicing existing clients. You will be expected to:

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and candidates
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle from job brief to placement
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities
  • Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, and networking
  • Mentor and support junior consultants where required
  • Consistently meet and exceed agreed sales and activity targets

This role is office-based in Birmingham, Monday to Friday, with occasional travel to client sites as required.
Requirements

We are seeking a professional recruiter with:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ recruitment agency experience (essential)
  • A proven track record of billing and business development
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
  • Previous mentoring or leadership experience would be advantageous
