With over 25 years of experience in childcare, Kids Inc. is one of Ireland's leading providers of Early Years and Afterschool Care. We operate more than 70 onsite Breakfast and Afterschool programmes nationwide, alongside our Creche and Preschool services.
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator to join our growing Recruitment team on a full-time, permanent basis.
About The Role

As Senior Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator, you will play a key role in coordinating recruitment and onboarding activity across our Early Years, Afterschool and Head Office services.
You will manage candidates throughout the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring that each stage is completed accurately, efficiently and in line with company procedures, safeguarding requirements and Tusla standards.
Working closely with the Recruitment Lead, HR team, hiring managers and operational stakeholders, you will help ensure that vacancies are progressed, candidates remain engaged and successful applicants are fully compliant and ready to start employment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing recruitment activity across a range of Early Years, Afterschool, relief and Head Office roles.
- Advertising vacancies and proactively sourcing suitable candidates.
- Screening applications and conducting recruitment interviews.
- Coordinating interviews and maintaining regular communication with candidates.
- Preparing and issuing offers of employment and recruitment correspondence.
- Supporting candidates throughout the full onboarding process.
- Collecting and reviewing required recruitment and compliance documentation.
- Coordinating Garda Vetting applications, references and right-to-work checks.
- Following up on outstanding documentation, training and compliance requirements.
- Tracking candidates through each stage of the recruitment and onboarding process.
- Maintaining accurate records within the Applicant Tracking System and HR systems.
- Updating all relevant recruitment and onboarding trackers, including CIC trackers.
- Ensuring vacancy, offer, Garda Vetting, compliance, training and ready-to-start records remain accurate and up to date.
- Providing regular recruitment updates and highlighting delays, risks or outstanding actions.
- Working closely with managers, HR, Payroll and Operations to support successful candidate starts.
- Supporting recruitment campaigns, open days, college events and employer-branding activities.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in recruitment, HR, talent acquisition or recruitment coordination.
- Experience managing candidates through recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple vacancies and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence conducting screening calls and interviews.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System and recruitment trackers.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Teams.
- A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
- The ability to follow up consistently and take ownership of outstanding actions.
- The ability to manage confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
Experience within childcare, education, healthcare or another regulated sector would be an advantage.
