For more information about the Department of Education, please visit NSW Department of Education    About the role The Senior Recruitment Officer provides specialist advice and recruitment solutions to support the placement of school-based staff, with a focus on more complex school environments. This role ensures high-quality customer service while navigating unique staffing challenges and providing strategic guidance to schools with specialised workforce needs. In this role, you will play a key role in partnering with stakeholders within our school networks, providing them with specialist advice and support and ensuring compliance and adherence with our Staffing Agreement and relevant Awards. Additionally, you will mentor and support Recruitment Officers within your team, providing advice and assistance to help them succeed in their roles.   About you To be successful in this role, you will: Possess excellent time management and multitasking skills, enabling you to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines. This includes answering multiple calls throughout the day and working within a rostered phone-based system while meeting the daily requirements of the position. Demonstrate outstanding communication and customer service skills, maintain a positive, can-do attitude, and take accountability as a dedicated recruitment contact for a school network. Have great attention to detail and enjoy building trusting relationships and collaborating with your team and members of school communities.  Be adaptable, flexible and forward thinking - a self-starter who is motivated to provide meaningful outcomes for children in NSW public schools. Exhibit strong analytical and organisational skills, along with a natural ability to solve problems. Build and sustain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders with competing and time priorities and tight deadlines in a high pressured, dynamic working environment.   For further information please view the role description.     Essential requirements, experience and knowledge   Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in human resource management, operations, customer service or a relevant discipline. Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
