SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Regional Financial Services Manager (RFSM), this role effectively manages customer financial services, accounts receivable, and risk exposure for customers within the region of Washington (entire state) & Oregon (Willamette Valley & N.E. Oregon). The Senior Credit Analyst will augment overall marketing and sales efforts while ensuring compliance with established financial and credit policies across the region.

TYPICAL EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4-year college or university

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

5+ years minimum experience in credit and/or financial analysis and/or other relevant training

Responsibilities
  • Administers the company’s credit policy by reviewing procedures and practices of marketing and sales personnel to ensure compliance.
  • Evaluates and approves credit lines for new and existing customers within established approval limits, adhering to departmental guidelines, procedures, and policies. Provides recommendations to the Area Financial Services Manager (AFSM) for accounts exceeding the approval authority of a Sr. Regional Credit Analyst.
  • Conducts thorough financial analysis of customer financial statements to assess creditworthiness and mitigate risk.
  • Delivers training and guidance to customers and sales teams on available financing programs to support cash flow objectives and manage financial risk.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with local lenders, suppliers, government agencies, legal professionals, and agricultural community leaders to ensure access to reliable credit information.
  • Collaborates with the AFSM to identify and escalate delinquent accounts to the Special Credit Department.
  • Utilizes spreadsheets and financial software tools to analyze data and support decision-making.
  • Requires travel (up to 50% with company vehicle) and a flexible remote work schedule to meet business needs (must reside within the specific region).
