ABBOTT RAPID DIAGNOSTICS GMBH IN COLOGNE IS LOOKING FOR A SENIOR REGIONAL FINANCE MANAGER DACH + NETHERLANDS (M/F/D).

We are recruiting for our next COMMERCIAL CONTROLLER, ARDX INFECTIOUS DISEASE DACH & NETHERLANDS BASED IN OUR OFFICE IN COLOGNE, GERMANY.
The primary function of this position is to execute a wide range of financial planning and decision support responsibilities, including short and long-range planning and execution of strategic initiatives, for Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Infectious Disease EMEA region, with responsibility for Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the Netherlands. This role will be responsible for the full range of finance responsibilities in the region (e.g., general accounting in conjunction with Global Shared Services, financial planning, financial reporting, financial analysis, cost accounting, entity reporting, internal control, entity planning, inventory control, and disbursements) to ensure the timeliness, accuracy, and integrity of all financial related information.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B.A./B.S. in Accounting or Finance MBA, CPA and/or CMA desirable
  • 8-10 years of diverse financial experience, including P&L responsibility, financial planning, reporting and analysis, general accounting, cost accounting and internal control
  • Track record of working to tight deadlines
  • Solid analytical skills and ability to perform complex and sometimes unprecedented analysis
  • Ability to operate both at strategic and operational levels
  • Very strong communication and relationship building skills at all levels, with preferable experience in an international matrix organization
  • Fluent in German and English
