QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• 3-5 years’ of experience post qualification in Operating Theatre/Endoscopy/Day Surgery Unit
• Proven leadership and team lead experience
• Dubai Health Authority Medical License
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Capable of escalating concerns appropriately (equipment, staffing, or clinical issues) without delay
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and theatre management systems (Cerner, Kronos, etc.).
• Well-versed in JCIA standards, infection control, and hospital policies.
• Experience with incident reporting, participation in audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Understands the importance of documentation accuracy for legal, billing, and compliance purposes
• Strong communicator: gives and receives feedback constructively
• Adaptable and solution-focused—understands the dynamics of fast-turnover surgery and short-stay patient management.
• Embodies accountability, leads by example, and promotes a culture of safety and professionalism.
