Description

Who we are
Demelza delivers extraordinary care to extraordinary children who are facing serious or life-limiting conditions, throughout Kent, South East London and East Sussex. We’re here to support them and their families at every step - from first diagnosis and for as long as we’re needed.
Demelza believes in care that doesn’t back down.
We are Demelza. And you could be too.
Be the nurse you dreamt of and join Team Demelza!
Are you a qualified and experienced senior registered nurse (children or learning disabilities)?
Do you want time to deliver personalised care to children and young people?
Do you want to be part of a nurse-led team where your professional development is paramount and you have access to high quality training?
If you do, Demelza is the place for you.
Our South East London hospice in Eltham are looking for dynamic nurses to work across our community and in-hospice teams, providing you with the opportunity to experience care in different settings and gain job satisfaction by knowing that you are using your skills and passion to make an impactful difference to children and their families.
At Demelza, you will care for children with a range of complex conditions, getting to know them and their families. You will structure your care around their individual needs, with no two days being the same.
Through a comprehensive training programme and continuous professional development, you will utilise your existing skills whilst gaining new ones around palliative care, symptom management and end of life care.
Join us and you can be the nurse you dreamt of being by delivering expert, individualised, and compassionate care that makes a real difference to children and families.
We greatly value the benefits of a diverse team and particularly encourage applicants from ethnic minority backgrounds.
