Description
G MASS Consulting are seeking a transaction reporting analyst to support our client across a broad range of clients. This role sits within a fast-paced, collaborative support team responsible for managing global clients’ transaction reporting obligations. The successful candidate will deliver an exceptional customer experience by efficiently managing client workflows, responding to regulatory queries, and resolving day-to-day reporting issues. The role is highly client-facing and requires strong communication skills, technical competence, and familiarity with transaction reporting regimes such as EMIR, MiFID, SFTR, ASIC, CFTC and/or SEC. Responsibilities: Act as a primary point of contact for client queries, ensuring issues are tracked, progressed, and resolved within agreed timelines Support clients in understanding system functionality and guide them through the resolution of transaction reporting issues Participate in client onboarding activities, including training sessions and on-site engagements where required Proactively identify, escalate, and monitor issues to closure, working closely with internal teams as needed Contribute to testing activities such as validation checks and user acceptance testing to support effective issue resolution Deliver support on bespoke, client-specific initiatives and ad-hoc projects Proven experience in a client-facing role, with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively Exposure to regulatory reporting frameworks such as EMIR, MiFID, SFTR, ASIC, CFTC and/or SEC Background in financial services, ideally within securities finance or capital markets environments Understanding of transaction reporting processes and data requirements Strong ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and work confidently with complex systems Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis, investigation, and issue resolution Working knowledge of SQL and APIs, or a strong willingness to develop these skills Experience using third-party or vendor reporting platforms is an advantage
