Job Description: The Senior Manager serves as a visionary leader of leaders. This role is accountable for cultivating high-performing leadership and ensuring alignment with system-wide and facility best practice standards. The Senior Manager drives sustained excellence across all organizational fundamentals, including patient safety, experience, caregiver engagement, quality, access, growth, and stewardship while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. This leader influences outcomes at scale, mentors and guides Rehabilitation Managers in both leadership practices, development, and successful team engagement, and ensures that interdisciplinary teams are empowered to deliver exceptional care and achieve strategic goals. In addition to mentoring and guiding Rehabilitation Managers in leadership development and team engagement, the Senior Manager may also oversee multiple distinct departments, some of which extend beyond the traditional rehabilitation service lanes, demonstrating versatility in leading diverse operational areas and influencing outcomes at scale. Essential Functions Leads through influence, guiding managers and teams to achieve excellence through clinical, operational, and strategic domains. Coaches, mentors, and develops Rehabilitation Managers, caregivers and shared leaders to build a strong leadership pipeline. Fosters a culture of accountability, empowerment, and continuous learning Ensures adherence to system-wide best practices, policies, and standards while tailoring implementation to local, facility needs. Collaborates cross-functionally with senior leaders in clinical, operational and administrative areas both within and outside of Rehabilitation services to drive integrated care delivery. Champions innovation and data-driven decision making to elevate services delivery and operational efficiency, and to empower caregivers. Serves as a visible and trusted leader, modeling integrity, collaboration, and compassion. Creates and implements multidisciplinary teams’ vision, direction, best practice, and strategic plans. Oversees and accountable for multidisciplinary teams’ finance, budget, and stewardship metrics. Skills Leader of leaders Communication Collaboration Ability to establish and maintain relationships Interpreting and presenting data Policy and procedures Minimum Qualifications Degree and education in Rehabilitation profession consistent with licensure requirements (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Audiology, Athletic Trainer, and Exercise Physiology). Current and applicable rehabilitation license to practice in the state where you reside. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers. Three years of previous experience as a practicing rehabilitation professional. Preferred Qualifications Five years of management experience Physical Requirements: Ongoing need to see and read information, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs. Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations. Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer, phone, and cable set-up and use.
