Activities will include: - Implementing treatment to protocols, and based on competencies. - Monitoring progress and feeding back to the registered practitioner or assistant practitioner - Making minor adjustments to treatment programmes within pre-determined limits - Assisting registered practitioners with complex treatment. - May involve ordering and issuing pre-determined basic equipment to protocols and established guidelines, and instructing the patient/carer on the safe use of equipment - May include leading and assisting with group exercise and advice sessions. - Provide information and advice to individuals on eating to maintain optimum nutritional status, and monitoring progress.

• Provide support to individuals to develop their communication skills - Provide support to individuals to develop their skills in managing dysphagia.
