Associate Director - Corporate Banking Execution
Our client, a European Corporate bank, is seeking an Associate Director to execute lending transactions.
Responsibilities
The Executor works closely with Origination in the corporate banking team in the London branch to provide support in all transactional steps:
- Continuous market / sector review
- Contribute and support Origination by identifying a clients’ wallet and help to develop client strategy in order to optimize the business relationship (cross-selling, RWA preservation, marketing strategy)
- Identify, qualify, and support Origination in creating new sales opportunities by portfolio companies and prospecting target accounts
- Direct client contact either together with Origination or as main contact for day-to-day business
- Implement “Onboarding” and initiation and coordination of processes to ensure process compliance and transparency in communication
- Assisting Origination with Know Your Customer checks and processes
- Participate in the credit process as a product specialist for corporate banking products with main focus on implementing tools & systems (e.g. transaction calculation, steering limits and/or securing of refinancing (with treasury), using CRM and coordinate and support all internal interfaces to relevant administrative, business and product units including Risk Office
- Contribute to drafting and negotiating lending documents by supporting Origination or legal department
- Preparing, contributing and reviewing together with Origination credit applications
- Being part of a deal team to process credit application from the beginning up to final approval
- Keep strong communication ties between Head Office and branches
- Representing Corporate Finance at external events and industry seminars
Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of experience in corporate banking, corporate structured finance, lending or credit analysis
- Good understanding of a corporate bank’s procedures and major products
- Demonstrated experience supporting and executing corporate lending transactions and credit processes.
- Experience working directly with corporate clients and managing day-to-day client relationships.
- Exposure to drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and executing loan documentation and financing agreements under English Law and in LMA based documentation.
- Experience coordinating with Legal, Risk, Operations, and other stakeholders throughout transaction lifecycles

Our client is looking for a Senior Relationship Manager, focusing on the United Kingdom market to provide support, advice, and a strategic approach to high net-worth clients. The individual would lead the sales and business performance and help to effectively manage client portfolios.
Duties Include:
- To be able to build strong relationships and attract new clients with private banking and wealth management needs to the group.
- To have an existing portfolio of clients.
- Ensure that efficient service and wealth structuring systems are in place.
- Provide advice to high-net-worth individuals, senior management, and support staff.
- Manage the relationship with clients, investment managers, and senior colleagues.
- Prepare business reports which can be distributed to the investment management.
- Manage risks in a timely manner by following the firm's and external regulatory standards.
- Be abreast of competition, market, and client activities in Switzerland.
- Provide clients with all the updated market information and conduct an analysis based on the information obtained.
The preferred candidate will ideally have a private banking or relationship management background and demonstrate an understanding of how to deal with high-net-worth individuals on a daily basis. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as be able to interact at all levels of business effectively.
