Job Purpose Maintain and manage a portfolio, build and sustain relationships with existing and prospective clients, and represent the Bank in the market. Drive revenue growth through Net Interest Income (NII), fee income, and cross-selling of all Bank products, while ensuring strong collaboration across Retail, Branch Teams, Treasury Sales, Bancassurance, Select Banking, Trade Finance, and Operations. Act as a Brand Ambassador for the Bank. Key Responsibilities/Tasks A. Relationship Management Manage a portfolio of existing clients and drive cross-selling of the Bank’s products to enhance relationships in line with the personal scorecard, including Bancassurance and Select Banking opportunities for promoters and related parties. Acquire salary accounts from existing and new corporate clients. Identify and onboard new clients to grow the credit portfolio, including covering the ecosystem of large corporate clients for Business Banking lending and agricultural financing. Mobilize low-cost deposits while expanding lending opportunities. Explore opportunities in Government Banking and selectively Corporate Banking. Source clients for fee-based income products, including Letters of Credit and Bank Guarantees. Achieve NII, fee income, loan, and deposit targets. Facilitate cross-border business referrals to IMK, IMU, IMR, and Bank One. Monitor and follow up on irregular accounts and excess drawings to maintain portfolio health. Conduct regular client visits for relationship management and inspection, including periodic reviews of debenture assets (e.g., stock) and property collateral. Prepare and submit call reports accordingly. Manage team members where applicable. B. Credit Management Support the Credit Risk team by ensuring timely submission of required information for credit applications. Follow up on execution of security documents and offer letters post credit approval. C. Compliance Monitor compliance with Board Credit Committee (BCC) and Management Credit Committee (MCC) directives. Ensure all credit approval conditions and covenants are met by clients. Ensure adherence to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements. Monitor process flow to ensure turnaround time (TAT) for client applications is achieved. D. Risk Management Maintain and update risk procedures and systems, including risk identification, assessment, monitoring, mitigation, and reporting. Ensure effective utilization of risk management tools. Address and remediate risk issues identified through audits or reviews. Promote a strong risk management culture within the team. E. Reporting Monitor submission of insurance, valuation reports, financial statements, and stock/debtor/creditor reports. Ensure timely submission of call reports and other required reports. F. Administration Support the Head of Business Development in preparing relationship-related budgets for Board approval. Oversee staff within the department, including leave management, performance appraisals, training, coaching, and mentoring. Perform any other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
