Job Purpose To manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients by developing new relationships and deepening existing ones. The role focuses on delivering tailored financial solutions, ensuring credit quality, and maximizing profitability while adhering to regulatory and risk management standards. Key Result Areas Business Development & Relationship Management Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with corporate clients within assigned sectors. Develop new business opportunities and cross-sell the bank’s products (loans, deposits, treasury, trade finance, investment banking solutions). Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service and responsiveness. Portfolio Growth & Profitability Achieve set targets for portfolio growth, income, and credit quality. Prepare and execute account plans for key clients, including profitability analysis and strategic engagement. Negotiate loan terms and conditions based on risk assessment and market conditions. Credit & Risk Management Conduct financial analysis, credit assessments, and prepare proposals for approval. Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, KYC, AML, and regulatory requirements. Monitor portfolio performance and proactively manage risks to minimize non-performing assets. Leadership & Collaboration Mentor junior relationship managers and support team development. Collaborate with product specialists (Treasury, Trade Finance, Investment Banking) to deliver integrated solutions. Represent the bank at industry events and networking forums to enhance brand visibility. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics; MBA or CFA preferred. Experience: 8–12 years in corporate banking or investment banking with proven track record in relationship management and credit analysis. Strong financial analysis and structuring capabilities. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Deep understanding of corporate finance, capital markets, and risk management. Ability to manage high-value accounts and deliver strategic solutions.
