Description
Create your best future and join Westpac as a Senior Relationship Manager (Agribusiness). What’s the role? You’ll be right at the heart of supporting one of Australia’s most important industries as part of our Regional Commercial and Agribusiness team. This is a full-time role based in Yass, where you’ll work closely with agribusiness and commercial customers across the Southern Tablelands and surrounding regions. Yass offers the best of both worlds. A strong, close knit regional community with deep agricultural roots, alongside easy access to Canberra for broader connectivity and opportunity. You’ll partner with family-owned agribusiness operations and growing commercial enterprises, building trusted relationships, and supporting customers through every stage of their business lifecycle. You’ll manage a small portfolio of established customers, with a real focus on growing new relationships in market. Working closely with specialists across Westpac, you’ll bring the right insights and solutions to every conversation. One day you might be visiting customers on site, the next collaborating internally to structure solutions that support growth and resilience. You’ll be backed by a passionate, locally connected team who care deeply about their customers and community, while giving you the space to shape your career and make a genuine impact in regional Australia. What do I need? • Strong, demonstrated experience in agribusiness banking with a strong understanding of regional industries • Proven customer acquisition and relationship building experience • Confidence in credit assessment, cashflow analysis and deal structuring • A customer first mindset with a focus on portfolio growth and business development • A strong local network or the ability to build trusted referral partnerships Why join us? We’re obsessed with becoming our customers #1 banking partner for life and we’re looking for people who are passionate about helping us achieve that goal. In return we’re committed to making Westpac the best place to work in the country. Here are just a few of the ways we’re already doing that: • Special offers on banking products and discounts from top brands, including generous employee-only mortgage rates! • Flexible work arrangements to help you achieve a greater work/life balance, and a variety of leave options including Culture, Lifestyle and Wellbeing leave. • Tailored learning and development opportunities to help your grow your career within the bank. • Lots of opportunities to give back to the Community by getting involved in our many volunteering initiatives Create your future today To get started, simply click on the APPLY or APPLY NOW button We’re all about creating a supportive and inclusive community.
