Our role in Vattenfall is to maximize the value of the overall portfolio by optimizing and dispatching, hedging, and sourcing for Vattenfall's sales and generation volumes. We serve as Vattenfall’s single access to energy commodity markets and trade electricity, emissions, fuels, freight, and renewable certificates. Within Markets BU Customers is offering power purchase agreements to operators of wind or solar parks. We provide market access services to large customers and (regional) energy suppliers and connect demand-side flexibility of industry to stabilize the electricity grid. We furthermore source electricity for Vattenfall’s consumer- and business customers with a strong focus to increase renewable sources of electricity. Our Business Area (BA) Markets is looking for the right person to fill the position as Senior Renewables Product Manager within the Renewables Product and Portfolio Management Team in our office in Hamburg or Berlin. Your key responsibilities: You will take responsibility for pricing PPAs activities across Germany, the Netherlands, UK and the Nordics. You will drive improvements and systematization of our pricing, particularly regarding BESS valuation and pricing, acting as a main interface between Structuring & Valuation and Origination teams. You will translate valuations into strategic business measures and expand Vattenfall’s internal and customer solutions. You will support to ensure the success and lifecycle of our products, from the initial offer phase, through operation and necessary adjustments to the phase-out at contract end. You will support the interface with our sales and origination desk, as well as key stakeholders in BA Wind and BU Assets. You will perform ad hoc analysis of our products, customers, and various additional data. Qualifications We are looking for someone who enjoys building long lasting relationships with diverse groups of people. You value openness and can use your superpowers of communication and collaboration to enhance the goals of our company through your contribution with various customers and stakeholders within the company and externally. In addition, you have the following Completed commercial or technical university studies or comparable degree. A minimum of 7 years of professional experience and distinctive experience in the energy industry with a track record on renewable energies. Deep understanding and network in the renewable energy landscape. Experience with respect to Batteries and PPAs in the Energy Trading sector. Team player with excellent communication skills and solution orientation. High degree of initiative and independent working style.
