This role will collaborate with key stakeholders, facilitate operational excellence, and support less experienced analysts. The Senior Reporting Analyst’s contributions play a vital role in providing accurate and meaningful reports to support decision-making and drive operational efficiency. What You’ll Do Execute data needs, including reviewing data requests, identifying correct data sources writing and adhering to report specifications, researching, gathering, and organizing data to build and deliver usable reports for key stakeholder needs. Optimize data validity by developing and executing testing workflows, peer review for team members, and ensuring reliability and alignment with key stakeholder requests. Deliver advanced reliable reports and dashboards by analyzing and testing data, troubleshooting errors, and escalating complex issues as required to ensure valid information. Support business needs by monitoring assigned systems, extracting required data, and building scheduled reports for key stakeholders. Collaborate with key stakeholders by communicating and sharing information, gathering and documenting ad-hoc data needs, supporting special projects, and ensuring accurate and complete report delivery. Facilitate operational excellence by researching existing documentation and reports, identifying reusable data, and promoting streamlined and efficient data delivery. Support less experienced Data and Reporting Analysts by building report structures, guiding implementation of required changes, and sharing knowledge of best practices for consistent report development and modification processes. Requirements What You’ll Need Education Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering or equivalent combination of education and work experience in business, insurance, or a related field. Professional Work Experience Minimum 3+ years of experience in executing data analysis and complex reporting solutions, preferably in the health care/social care industries. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong technical skills, including intermediate proficiency in SQL programming language and experience with reporting tools such as SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, or others. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate situations methodically and apply effective research and investigative techniques. Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work and adhere to timelines for assigned projects. Ability to work independently with little supervision or direction, while also collaborating and communicating effectively with stakeholders at various levels within the organization. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and combine data from multiple systems and manipulate databases. Knowledge of data manipulation techniques and database management. Familiarity with Azure and other internal systems, databases, and technologies used. Ability to adapt and be flexible in a complex and changing environment, adjusting plans, goals, actions, or priorities to meet changing situations. Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate raw data and information into concise metrics that are understandable by non-technical individuals.
