ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Digital & Insights practice in Washington, D.C., as part of the public opinion research team. In this role, you will support both the logistical and analytical aspects of research projects and may take the lead on managing smaller engagements. You will be responsible for tasks such as drafting survey questionnaires and discussion guides, proofreading research materials, coordinating survey fielding and focus group logistics, and handling day-to-day project management. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is eager to contribute to meaningful, data-driven insights in public opinion research.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
In this role, you will support the design, execution, and analysis of public opinion and market research projects from start to finish. Working closely with senior researchers and cross-functional teams, you will help develop research instruments, manage fieldwork, and analyze both quantitative and qualitative data. You’ll be responsible for drafting toplines, interpreting crosstabs, and preparing data summaries using tools like SPSS, Excel, and visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
You’ll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure research aligns with project goals and timelines. This includes supporting the integration of advanced analytics and automation tools (e.g., Python, R, or APIs) where applicable, and helping translate findings into clear, compelling presentations and reports for clients or leadership. You will also have the opportunity to grow your technical skills, contribute to methodological discussions, and work in a highly collaborative, learning-focused environment.
