What You’ll Do The primary purpose of this role is to effectively, efficiently, and ethically execute on the firm’s investment philosophy and process as a subject matter expert in fixed income. Research & Analysis: Conduct detailed research and analysis to generate new investment ideas and monitor existing ones within your area of expertise. Your work will serve as the foundation for the Investment Oversight Committee's decisions. You will model and evaluate potential investment strategies and present your findings and recommendations clearly and concisely. Investment Recommendations: Formulate and present well-supported recommendations for improvements to our investment philosophy and processes. Your proposals will be based on rigorous research and will directly influence the firm's strategic direction. Process Execution: Skillfully implement processes established by the Investment Committee, serving as a lead for idea generation and monitoring within your area of expertise. Responsible for analysis and implementation spanning mutual funds, ETFs, and individual fixed income securities, including portfolio construction. Education Creation: Define, create, and communicate empowering investment education for clients and internal stakeholders. Mentorship and Collaboration: Support and mentor junior research team members, helping them develop their analytical skills. You'll also take part in firm-wide projects, contributing your analytical expertise to broader initiatives. Requirements What You’ll Need to Succeed Proven Experience: 3 years minimum of Analyst experience. Demonstrated expertise and a deep understanding of fixed income. Certifications: Possession of a major designation such as a CFA, or a Master’s degree in a relevant field. Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in relevant research software, i.e. proficiency in Bloomberg. Work Style: You thrive in an autonomous environment and can manage tasks with minimal supervision.
