WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Baylor University is seeking a Senior Research Associate in our Educational Psychology department within the School of Education. This is a grant funded, temporary role currently funded through 3/31/26.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Psychology, Social Work, Public Health, Business, or related field
  • Experience in project management, preferably in educational settings
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and data collection tools (e.g., Qualtrics)
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with families of children with intellectual or developmental disabilities
  • Understanding of autism spectrum disorder, evidence-based interventions, and family support systems
  • Experience in community outreach and partnership development
  • Cultural competence in working with diverse responsibilities
  • Experience with program evaluation and outcome measurement

A Bachelor’s degree years three years of relevant work experience are required. A Bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant work experience are preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Secure venues for delivering parent training
  • Advertise upcoming parent training opportunities
  • Maintain website and social media accounts
  • Communicate with parents
  • Manage the registration process
  • Collect data for progress reporting and ongoing research projects affiliated with the project
  • Assist with budget management
  • Assist with ensuring compliance with grant requirements
  • Assist in tracking project metrics and evaluating effectiveness
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
  • Ability to comply with University policies
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
