THE ROLE
The School of Mathematics, University of Bristol is seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Probability for a duration of six months. The successful applicant will work with Márton Balázs, supported by his EPSRC grant ‘Particle systems, growth models and their probabilistic structures’.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Our School has a vibrant scientific environment with leading researchers, several postdocs and students, high-profile reading groups and seminar series in various fields of Mathematics, including Probability. We take particular care of professional skills development for colleagues in earlier stages of their careers. The post holder will contribute to the research activities of the School, manage their own research agenda with guidance if required, publish their results in strong journals and present them on top international conferences as well as seminars.
