The Senior Research Associate is a senior postdoctoral associate who is > 10 years beyond their start date. As with the postdoc, the Senior Research Associate is a training post wherein the Associate conducts independent original research under the mentorship of FCCC/ICR faculty with the goal of becoming an independent successful scientist. The Associate gains independence by: performing experiments, analyzing resultant data, publishing original findings, applying for funding, communicating results in presentations at the Center and at conferences, mentoring students, and through participation in leadership and administrative activities offered through Academic Affairs. Education Doctorate Degree Physical or Biological Sciences Required Post Doctorate Degree: Ph.D or MD Required Experience 10+ years experience analyzing and interpreting results using statistics Required 10+ years experience in scientific writing and oral communication Required 10+ years experience with a college level knowledge and understanding of key scientific concepts Required 10+ years experience with general lab techniques at a college or company level Required General Experience training and mentoring individuals Preferred Licenses
