What You Will Do
The Collins Aerospace, Applied Research & Technology (ART), Connected Systems Group (CS Group) seeks Senior Research Engineer candidates with proven research credentials and/or practical experience and a passion for applying these skills in specialized aerospace applications. This is a both research and engineering focused role which will be involved in shaping future aerospace technologies.

Key Job Responsibilities
Contribute to a growing research agenda for future aerospace systems within the Collins Aerospace Advanced Technology research community.
Execute R&D activities within an international research community, including technology development within collaborative multi-national research programs.
Provide competitive advantage for Collins Aerospace business units as part of a multidisciplinary and international team of experts.
Contribute towards technical strategy and business development.
Qualifications & Competencies
Education & Experience
We are looking for Technology Research, Design, and Development Engineers with proven skills in one or more of the technical areas described above (Wireless Systems Design, Modelling/Simulation & Testing/Evaluation, Aerospace & Air Traffic Management (ATM), and/or Techno-economic Analysis) to join our expanding team. You will be part of a strong team working on advanced technologies and profound projects.
A degree in Computer Science, Electrical, or Computer Engineering. A minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years of related experience with a Master’s degree; or a PhD with relevant experience. The candidate must be prepared to immediately contribute at a Senior Research Engineer level.
