What’s the job?
At Torrens University, we are committed to impactful research addressing critical global health challenges. The Centre for Healthy Futures (CHEF) is at the forefront of innovation in cardiovascular and/or clinical sciences, driving solutions to enhance health outcomes. As part of our strategic road map CHEF has a focus on biomedical sciences.
We are seeking a highly skilled Research Fellow or Senior Research Fellow with an ability to contribute to core biomedical sciences with a focus on cardiovascular, haematology and clinical sciences. Our research has a focus on knowledge discovery and applied research. Ideally the candidate will have expertise in bioinformatics, genomics plus data science or statistics to support the group. This role emphasizes collaboration, research excellence, and the ability to support team-based projects while leading independent research initiatives. Expertise in bioinformatics with a focus on mechanisms of disease will be highly regarded.
