What You'll Be Leading

• Provide strategic oversight of research grants and contracts, from pre-award development through to reporting
• Partner with academic and professional staff to identify funding opportunities and strengthen grant applications
• Manage compliance with funding body requirements, institutional policy, and relevant legislation
• Contribute to continuous improvement of research management systems, processes, and capability across the team

What You'll Bring

• Demonstrated experience managing complex research grants within a university or large research organisation
• Sound knowledge of Australian competitive funding schemes, including ARC and NHMRC frameworks
• Proven ability to build effective relationships with academic staff and senior stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail across budgets, contracts, and compliance requirements
• Experience working in research administration
