ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The Charles Perkins Centre Epidemiology Hub are seeking a Biostatistician ( HEO 8) to lead data analysis using linked population-based health data on projects related to cardiovascular disease, diabetes, obesity and related conditions across the lifespan. This position will be based at the University of Sydney Camperdown campus.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct advanced statistical analysis using linked administrative health, cohort and clinical data
  • be involved in data preparation and management of linked datasets
  • contribute to the development of statistical analysis plans, preparation of results, visualisation and reporting of research to various audiences
  • collaborate and liaise with a multidisciplinary team of academics, clinicians, consumers, policy makers and other stakeholders
  • contribute to developing new grant and funding applications, and more broadly to other research projects within the team.
