Responsibilities

As a key leader in the Hydrogen Community Hub Project Team, you will manage the planning, delivery and growth of this flagship initiative - part of CQUniversity’s broader commitment to renewable energy through its Centre for Hydrogen and Renewable Energy. The project focuses on building community awareness, education and engagement around hydrogen and renewable energy opportunities.
In this dynamic and highly collaborative role, you will work closely with industry stakeholders, schools, community groups, Traditional Owners, and government partners to design and implement strategies that activate the Hub and ensure its long-term sustainability. You will oversee project plans, budgets, and reporting, leading and contributing to research, development and engagement activities that position CQUniversity as a leader in the renewable energy space.
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Senior Research Officer or Project Manager with exceptional communication skills, strong stakeholder networks, and a sound technical understanding of the renewable energy sector - particularly hydrogen technologies. Your ability to translate complex information for diverse audiences, combined with experience navigating government and community engagement, will be key to your success. At CQUniversity, your work will help shape a cleaner, smarter energy future for all.
