Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Aequita Bioworks is a biotechnology company leveraging artificial intelligence to pioneer novel monoclonal antibody therapies. Join our innovative team focused on advancing therapeutic antibodies to address skeletal muscle loss during weight loss.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct and analyze experiments to evaluate lead candidates’ effects on muscle metabolism, differentiation, atrophy, hypertrophy, and contraction.
  • Support the development of in vitro assays (e.g., qPCR, immunostaining, western blotting, ELISA) to study muscle cell activities in collaboration with senior team members.
  • Assist in evaluating therapeutic potential of novel targets using in vitro or pre-clinical models of obesity.
  • Execute functional assays (e.g., luciferase reporter, kinase activity, phosphorylation analysis) and utilize fluorescence/luminescence-based readouts (HTRF, AlphaScreen).
  • Collaborate with CROs under guidance to assess drug candidates in in vivo assays, including PK/PD and efficacy studies.
  • Maintain detailed electronic lab records and adhere to documentation standards.
  • Contribute to data interpretation and presentations for internal teams and reports for senior management.
  • Assist in drafting technical content for patents, IND applications, and regulatory submissions.
