YOUR ROLE

As a senior researcher, you will play a key role in advancing our national and international position in the field of AMR, integrating scientific excellence with strategic project development and stakeholder engagement.

  • Design, lead, acquire research projects that contribute to the national and international AMR agenda.
  • Apply advanced molecular and epidemiological methods to unravel AMR mechanisms in animal and foodborne pathogens.
  • Translate research outcomes into high-impact publications and actionable insights for policymakers and veterinarians
  • Actively pursue funding opportunities and partnerships with industry, academia, and government.
  • Technical Innovation by identifying emerging trends in antimicrobial resistance that address future challenges

WBVR is appointed as National Reference Laboratory for antimicrobial resistance (NRL-AR) in animals and is an active research group within the AMR field. As a consequence, ongoing monitoring activities are combined with a variety of research projects. You will work within the group that consists of the head of NRL-AR, research scientists , PhD student and technicians all working closely together covering the different tasks and disciplines.
