Job Description We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Resident Engineer to join our team in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our building development projects, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing large-scale construction initiatives, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Lead and supervise the engineering team on-site, ensuring efficient project execution and adherence to timelines Monitor and evaluate project progress, preparing comprehensive reports for stakeholders Conduct regular inspections of workmanship and materials to maintain quality standards Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure project success Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and change orders Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards Implement innovative solutions to overcome project challenges and improve efficiency Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline project processes and enhance overall performance Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred Minimum of 20 years of experience in building engineering, with a focus on managing large-scale projects Proven track record in overseeing complex infrastructure projects in the Middle East In-depth knowledge of UAE construction standards, regulations, and best practices Strong understanding of infrastructure development, construction methodologies, and quality control processes Excellent project management skills, including budget and schedule management Advanced problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail Proficiency in project management software and CAD tools Outstanding leadership and team management skills Strong technical report writing and communication abilities Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously Willingness to work on-site and travel as required for project needs Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in the UAE Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and implement innovative solutions Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
