Waypoint Care is seeking a warm, dedicated, and experienced Senior Residential Care Worker to help lead our brand-new, 3-bed children’s home in Doncaster. This is an opportunity to be part of a nurturing team that provides life-changing care for children and young people with complex needs and past trauma. The role involves 10 x 24-hour shifts per month, offering a consistent and impactful presence in the lives of the children.
At Waypoint Care, we’re more than just a residential home provider—we’re a community built on compassion, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to helping children heal and thrive. We create safe, loving, and therapeutic spaces where children can rediscover their sense of self and grow with confidence. As we continue to expand, we offer excellent progression opportunities for passionate and capable team members who want to grow with us.
YOUR ROLE & RELATIONSHIPS
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will take an active role in both caring for the children and supporting the team. You’ll provide guidance, supervision, and mentoring to Residential Support Workers, helping them build the skills and confidence to offer the highest standard of care. You’ll report directly to the Deputy Manager and Manager and work collaboratively within a strategic, therapeutic team. Your insights and leadership will help shape care plans and ensure that each child receives the support they truly need.
