We are looking for a enthusiastic Team Leader for our children’s home!
This is a full-time on-site role for a Team Leader. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising care staff, creating care plans for residents, managing medication, and ensuring the quality of care meets regulatory requirements. You will also act as a mentor to junior care staff and cultivate a positive atmosphere among the team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma / NVQ level 3 or above in Children and Young People’s Workforce or equivalent qualification is required
• At least 3 years of experience in residential care with at least two-year experience in a supervisory role
• Excellent communication skills, ability to maintain empathy, and provide person-centered approach, Confidentiality, and a Genuine care towards service users
• Commitment to promoting the dignity and well-being of our residents
• Ability to lead, supervise a team and resolve issues
• Good knowledge and practical experience of using computer systems including Microsoft Office
• Flexible to work shifts including weekend working
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure and satisfactory references are required for this role
