JOB DESCRIPTION

Due to the continued growth of our company, we are looking to expand in several different areas throughout our business; one of those areas is our drafting department. We are looking for an individual who is interested in growing with our company.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 year experience drafting residential blueprints
• Proficient knowledge of the construction process
• Demonstrate time management skills
• High level of integrity and work ethic
• He/she must ensure production of plans and drawings are implemented and comply with current building code specifications
• Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
• Construction background and experience with multi- unit dwellings is an asset

• Production of drawings primarily for residential buildings and multiplexes
• Drawings for retail buildings, office buildings, industrial buildings and apartment/condo complexes would be an asset.
• Must have proficient use working with SoftPlan. Some skills in AutoCAD can be transferred for use in Softplan with additional training.
• Complete all drawings required between each design/sales quote
• Creativity and innovation with design
• Ensure all work meets company standards for quality
• Stay current on knowledge of the building code
