SKILLS

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with individuals and their families.
  • Knowledge of IT systems for maintaining records and documentation is beneficial.
  • Ability to develop and follow care plans with attention to detail.
  • A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting individuals as needed.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

    • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential)


      • Experience in a children’s home- Knowledge of safeguarding, emotional regulation, and trauma-informed care- Passion, patience, and professionalism

      • Maintain accurate records of progress and any changes in the individual’s condition or needs.
      • Assist children in educational activities and recreational pursuits, promoting their development and social skills.
      • Drive individuals to appointments or community activities as required.
      • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the quality of support provided.
      • Lead shifts and mentor junior staff
