Description
We are looking for a Project and Resourcing Specialist to join the Red Hat APAC Services team, focusing on duties such as resource management and scheduling, project management and reporting, and key operational tasks associated with project and resource management. As a member of the Services team, they will interact with various cross functional & technical teams in support of regional Resource Management, Project Management and Professional Services. They will work closely with the wider Project Management team, Delivery organizations, Legal, Finance, Accounts Receivable and Delivery Enablement teams. What You Will Do: Determine, monitor, and review project economics across ANZ Projects including project revenue, project costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, resources, and risk. Manage and report on project RAG and RAID status to APAC Project Management Office. Facilitate the development of recommended project control solutions to be used for planning, scheduling, and tracking projects through the project lifecycle from project kick off, execution to project close out. Collaborate with stakeholders to review current department processes relating to Resource Management and Project Management and identify areas for improvement. Assist in socialising and educating relevant associates on any changes to Project Management, Resourcing and Operational processes. Managing Project Milestone completion for Fixed Price projects across ANZ and ensuring timely project close out and revenue recognition. Resourcing and scheduling: Ensure new projects are set up in the relevant systems accurately and in a timely manner. Coordinate with territory services managers and the Resource Management Office (RMO) to manage project staffing requirements to maximise revenue and consultant utilisation. Maintain accurate resourcing schedules in the relevant systems. Provide timely and accurate reporting on consultant utilisation. What You Will Bring: Proven experience (+5 years) in Project Management and/or Resource Management, with a strong preference of that experience being in the IT or software development industry. Strong understanding and demonstrated history of using project management methodologies (such as Agile) and resource planning techniques. 2-3 years’ experience in analyzing data, reports and dashboards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse teams and stakeholders. A track record of driving performance and fostering a collaborative work environment. Ability to prioritise tasks, manage competing deadlines and meet agreed timeframes in a fast paced environment. Strong skills in budget management and reporting. Practical experience using various Project Management and Resource Management tools such as Salesforce PSA, Microsoft Project, Atlassian Jira etc Bachelor's degree in a related field and / or Project management or scrum certifications are a plus.
