Description The Senior Retail Operations Manager is responsible for execution of the strategies determined by the Vice President. This position is the subject matter expert on all aspects of systems functionality, to include but not limited to point-of-sale systems, price book systems, internet, audio, telephone etc. In addition, this role is responsible for ensuring the integrity of our pricing operations, execution of office functionality, advertisement creation and execution, human resources support functionality, analytics assessment and analysis, and vendor management. Requirements Knowledge and Education High school graduation or equivalent, required. Knowledge of retail operations including point of sale, price book and weekly advertising. Experience Three or more years’ experience in a retail store operations position, required. Three plus years’ experience in a grocery store, preferred. Skills and Abilities Good verbal and written communication skills. Good people and customer interaction skills. Skills in areas of leadership, management and coaching. Demonstrated attentiveness to details; mathematical analytical ability. Use of calculator. Good computer skills, e.g. point of sale system. Demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems – operational, customer, and employee. Customer service skills related to interaction with resolving customer concerns. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work in a high pressure and demanding environment. Ability to multi-task, i.e., pick-up where left off when interrupted.
