Junior Edition is a family run children’s concept store. Over the past 10 years we have expanded significantly to become one of the UK’s largest independent online retailers of ethically manufactured design led children’s and clothing, toys and homewares and now expanding into women wear and lifestyle products. In addition to our online store we also have a thriving bricks and mortar store in the North Laine of Brighton.
We are excited to be offering the opportunity to take on a new senior sales consultant to meet the needs of our growing business.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years retail or customer service focused role within in a busy sales environment and 2 years experience in a leadership role. This experience will be in high end retail , The candidate will have a strong understanding of what great customer service is. and a knowledge of children’s products preferred.
They will be sales focused with outstanding communication skills, confident to make decisions and work in a small team environment. They need to be well presented, have flexibility in their weekly schedule, and a positive can do attitude.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.15 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Maximising profitability by meeting K.P.I’s and store targets.
  • Keeping store standards premium on a daily basis.
  • Keyholder experience preferred, but not essential.
  • Experience in visual merchandising for the store and windows. Highlighting key products, rotating stock and windows displays weekly/monthly. Not essential to the role.
  • Replenishment of the store. Helping to place weekly orders with the warehouse to replenish stock. Ordering of new lines, steaming and pricing. Repackaging old lines to be returned to the warehouse. Actioning deliveries, with the ability to handle lifting and managing 5 sets of stairs.
  • Awareness of stock control and stock taking, preferably with some experience in this field.
  • Accurately picking products for junioredition.com orders and preparing them for transfer to the warehouse site.
  • Helping to promote Junior Edition. Interested in creating social media content? There are opportunities to work with Social Media Supervisor to plan, coordinate and create original content in-line with Junior Edition branding.
