Randwick City Council is an innovative and progressive Council committed to serving our vibrant community on the eastern beaches of Sydney. Our Financial Services Team is seeking a Senior Revenue Officer.

PURPOSE:

The Senior Revenue Officer role, as part of the larger Revenue Team, is responsible for contributing to the timely and accurate maintenance of specific rating and customer billing functions, supporting debt recovery processes and assisting the accountants with maintaining financial records and systems according to Council’s policies and the Local Government Act.
The position delivers exceptional customer service, experiences, and outcomes to the community and its residents.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Ensure daily receipting of Council’s income, accurate reflection in financial systems, and preparation of banking deposits.
• Manage property-related transactions including notices of sale, Section 603 certificates, and issuing of rate notices.
• Delivery quality customer service, support debt recovery processes, and liaise with internal business units on revenue matters.
