Reporting to the Manager, Risk, the Senior Risk Analyst is responsible for conducting risk analysis and completing due diligence to mitigate financial and other risk for the export portfolio business line in alignment with the enterprise risk management program.  Interacting with multiple touchpoints in the organization, the role provides a large breath of experience and understanding of the business.    What you’ll be doing  * Conduct financial risk analyses of suppliers, foreign governments, and private sector customers; utilize available data, analytics, and insights e.g., credit agencies and financial institutions; identify opportunities and manage risks to support decision making * Review, analyze, and assess foreign and domestic contracts, ensure clauses meet financial risk standards, provide input on conditions and tailored packages to mitigate and reduce exposure e.g., financing, payment structure, insurance requirements, performance bonds, guarantees * Respond to financial risk issues arising in contract management phase and provide advice and guidance on solutions to minimize detrimental impact * Support the enterprise risk management program with attention to business continuity planning, business impact analysis and security; research and ensure best and better practices; and provide training * Lead or participate on projects and working groups, provide input and advice, and undertake research and information gathering to inform decisions * Prepare reports and briefing notes for various audiences * Provide information support to a variety of internal and external audits * Develop and maintain risk management policies, procedures and supporting tools   What you’ll bring to CCC   * Completion of university degree in finance, commerce, or business administration * CPA or CFA designation in good standing * Minimum of five years experience in financial risk management * Knowledge of theories and principles of financial management, accounting and cost accounting practices, and financial statement analysis * Knowledge of financial due diligence, general risk management practices related to banking and/or surety industries, and international trade * Knowledge of relevant governing legislation, regulations, and guidelines * English Essential, bilingualism in both official languages is strongly preferred     What we will offer you   * Competitive & transparent compensation package * Comprehensive benefit program                                                                      * Defined-benefit pension plan                                                                               * Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP)                                                      * In-house learning and development opportunities                                            * Health and Wellness Allowances                                                                           * Career Growth Opportunities      * Free onsite fitness center                                                                                  Check out Life at CCC [https://www.ccc.ca/en/careers/life-at-ccc/] for more!    Successful candidate must be able to attain Secret Security Clearance and be able to work in a hybrid work environment in Ottawa, ON.   CCC promotes a workplace that celebrates diversity and inclusion.
