SENIOR RISK ANALYST:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Risk Analyst for a 15-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

SENIOR RISK ANALYST - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The project aims to implement new Enterprise Data Management Office (EDMO) data management procedures for Critical Data. The Senior Data Control Testing Analyst will build and execute Data Quality Control Testing activities to ensure adherence to these new procedures.

SENIOR RISK ANALYST - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• Experience in writing test scripts and executing control testing
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to manage timelines and escalate issues
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks
• In-depth knowledge of Data Governance and Data Control Frameworks
• Ability to operate in an Agile/Waterfall environment
• Strong interpersonal skills

SENIOR RISK ANALYST – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Certification in risk management
• Familiarity with Alteryx or similar tools
• Experience in designing control testing frameworks
• Knowledge of data controls and risk management practices
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel

• Independently execute testing of Data Controls
• Develop testing documentation and results reporting
• Evaluate control effectiveness and develop recommendations for enhancement
• Work independently as a subject matter expert and coach others
• Perform complex analysis and reporting
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver against agreed timelines
