The Project Since 2019, Mace and Dragados, working as MDJV, have led the design and construction of HS2 Euston. As part of an integrated team with HS2, MDJV coordinates delivery of the high speed station, including platforms, concourse and links to the London Underground within one of the country’s most complex urban environments. The station features six deep level high speed platforms, positioned around 9 metres below street level and designed to support trains up to 400m in length. The role Manages and oversees the implementation and delivery of a range of risk management and reporting services to support commissions. Provides leadership, assurance, and guidance to risk management teams within the assigned hub, ensuring compliance with Mace standards, client requirements, and prevailing regulation, policy, and legislation. Responsibilities · Accountable for risk management performance across assigned commissions and clusters. · Designs and implements effective risk management frameworks and reporting strategies. · Manages and directs clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams on all relevant risk management matters. · Partners with clients to manage expectations and build strong professional relationships. · Provides comprehensive advice to project teams on risk standards, processes, and tools, including managing risks, issues, and reporting to achieve key objectives. · Facilitates and supports periodic risk reporting and structured governance meetings. · Develops functional management strategies, plans, processes, and tools, tracking progress against KPIs. · Works with Risk Service Directors and/or Project Managers to identify opportunities and mitigate risks/issues. · Provides line management to junior risk staff and mentors team members to support career development. · Leads integration of risk management with other project disciplines. · Supports hub leadership with resourcing and recruitment for assigned commissions. · Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, proactively identifying and managing associated carbon risks during delivery.
