THE ROLE

Are you ready to take the lead in shaping risk and compliance practices at one of Australia’s leading real estate investment managers?
We are seeking a Senior Risk & Compliance Manager to join our high-performing Group Risk & Compliance Team (Line 2). Reporting to the Head of Risk and Compliance, you will be a trusted advisor to the business, partnering with our first line of defence to implement, enhance and embed our risk and compliance frameworks.
You’ll play a critical part in designing governance frameworks, guiding risk-based decision-making through assurance and oversight, and building a strong culture of compliance through education and collaboration. A key focus will also be to standardise controls across the business, ensuring consistency, clarity and effectiveness in risk management practices.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Developing and implementing robust governance frameworks, controls and processes that meet legislation, regulation and industry standards.
  • Overseeing the continuous improvement of risk and compliance plans, programs, policies, frameworks and systems.
  • Monitoring the effective management of risk and compliance obligations.
  • Educating and advising teams to uplift risk maturity and build a risk and compliance culture.
  • Standardising controls across the business to ensure a consistent approach to risk.
  • Collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders across the Group to embed best practices.
  • Preparing clear, insightful reports for management, the ARC and the Board.
