JOB DESCRIPTION:

PioneerTech is looking for a Senior Safe Agilist/Release Train Engineer familiar with working technical projects for the Department of Defense (DoD).
DDJT’s technical networks and infrastructure supports a variety of activities are focused on providing an accessible, Agile, scalable, composable, modular, open systems architecture enabled environment to support joint requirements for training within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) in DevSecOps environment.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

Ten plus (10+) years of recent experience with:

  • Experience transitioning/standing up/integrating Agile Scrum processes into organizations
  • Experience leading Scrum of Scrums activities; multiple Scrum teams
  • Managing multiple software development and/or DevSecOps activities.
  • Strong program management skills to affect organizational change in challenging environments.
  • JIRA Task Boards (i.e., Kanban), Plans, and Reporting.
  • Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Points, and Visio.

Having following is a PLUS:

  • Top Secret or Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Experience working with the Joint Staff (JS) or COCOMs.
  • Experience leading Scrums focused specifically on DevSecOps environments
  • Current DoDD-8140/8570 certification. One of the following: CompTIA Security+ CE / GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) / Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP) / System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) / RHCSA Red Hat Certified System Administrator / RHCDS Red Hat Certified Data Center Specialist
  • Prior support or understanding of Command and Control (C2) system administration, engineering, and C2 software and hardware support with an emphasis on GCCS-J (Global Command and Control System Joint), GCCS-I3 (Global Command and Control System – Integrated Imagery and Intelligence), GCCS-J Agile Client, Joint Range Extension (JRE), Tactical Data Analysis and Connectivity System (TDACS), Air Defense System Integrator (ADSI), Theater Battle Management Core System (TBMCS), Radiant Mercury Cross Domain Solution, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) C2 systems Integrated Command and Control (ICC), Joint Deployable Intelligence Support System (JDISS), and Maritime Command and Control Information System (MCCIS).

Responsibilities
  • Lead and facilitate ART events including PI Planning, ART Sync, Inspect and Adapt Workshops, and Scrum of Scrums.
  • Act as servant leader to Agile teams, promoting Agile principles and practices.
  • Support JS J7 initiatives enabling a more scalable, secure, containerized, and adaptable infrastructure using a single continuous Agile-based process focused on integrating development, security, and operations (DEVSECOPS) into a single continuous process that includes integration of Zero Trust requirements as prioritized by JS J7 government personnel.
  • Leading Scrum of Scrums
  • Daily Scrums for 10+ person team of Software Engineers, Middleware Administrators, and Testing Engineers.
  • Facilitating plans, assignments, schedules, and meetings for program’s DevSecOps, Software Engineering, Middleware Sustainment, Patch & Vulnerability Remediation, Network, Firewalls, and Quality Assurance/Regression Testing tasks.
  • Coordinating plans, assignments, schedules, and meetings with other internal teams (Configuration Management, Database, Infrastructure, and Single-Sign-On), government customers, and other stakeholders (Other Internal Gov Orgs, External Gov Orgs, Foreign Nations, Other Contractors, and third-party Vendors).
  • Ensure Systems Engineering and Agile methodologies are applied across all engineering areas of the integrated Training Enclave.
  • Support design, installation, configuration, testing, integration, documentation, troubleshooting, repair, monitoring and management of multiple enterprise network services environments. Those environments currently include 5 separate security classifications and includes Alternative Compensatory Control Measures (ACCM) environments that further restrict access within a classification level.
  • Ensure Agile and Systems Engineering methodologies are applied across all engineering areas of the integrated Training Enclave, including networks and communications, encryption, firewalls and IDS/IPS, servers, operating systems, and infrastructure.
