REQUIREMENTS

Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, computer sciences, or a related field.
· Sage Intacct certification(s) preferred.
Experience:
· 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting Sage Intacct solutions, preferably in the real estate sector or member-based associations.
· Prior experience leading a migration from Sage 300 ERP to Sage Intacct is highly preferred.
· Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and real estate industry financial processes.
· Experience working with third-party implementation partners or system integrators
· Experience with third-party integrations and data migrations, especially with Salesforce CRM.
· Experience working with various programming languages and Salesforce, SQL server and MySQL databases.
· Experience working with Cloud based infrastructure, such as AWS and Azure is a plus.
· Understanding of REST and Salesforce APIs is important.
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
· Project management experience, including the ability to manage concurrent multiple tasks related to Sage Intacct implementation.
· Experience working in a real estate or membership-based organization is a plus.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Able to work independently and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high volume, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is primarily responsible for supporting the organization through the migration from Sage 300 ERP to Sage Intacct, overseeing implementation, providing expert-level support, and optimizing Sage Intacct and its integrations with various internal and external systems to enhance TRREB’s financial operational efficiency. This role requires deep knowledge and hands-on experience of Sage Intacct, strong project management skills, and the ability to work closely with various TRREB and external teams to improve financial workflows and reporting capabilities. This is a client-side advisory role that requires working closely with both the internal teams and liaising with the third-party Sage Intacct implementation partner responsible for the implementation.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

  1. Lead internal teams during end-to-end migration from Sage 300 ERP to Sage Intacct, including data migration, scoping, configuration, testing, training, integration with various internal and external systems including TRREB’s Salesforce CRM, and go-live support.
  2. Act as a subject matter expert and internal advisor throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  3. Analyze TRREB’s financial processes and provide recommendations for optimization using Sage Intacct.
  4. Configure, customize and support Sage Intacct to meet TRREB’s specific financial and reporting needs.
  5. Collaborate with the third-party implementation partner during discovery, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  6. Review system architecture including chart of accounts, workflows, and approval structures recommended by the implementation partner and validate against TRREB requirements.
  7. Support user acceptance testing and data validation.
  8. Develop and deliver training sessions for TRREB’s finance and various operations teams, as needed.
  9. Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and system optimization for Sage Intacct users within TRREB.
  10. Collaborate with TRREB’s finance, IT, and various other teams to ensure seamless system integration and data accuracy.
  11. Stay up to date with Sage Intacct features, updates, and best practices to enhance TRREB’s financial operations.
  12. Document project requirements, system configurations, and user guides specific to TRREB.
  13. Assist in the evaluation of additional integrations and financial software enhancements.
  14. Assist with TRREB special events, including on-site assistance at the event as required.
  15. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned from time to time.
