DESCRIPTION

In this position, reporting to the VP Business Development-Solutions, the Senior Sales Account Manager will be responsible for growing Invio business in the Medical Device/Life Sciences and Industrial industry segments, with responsibilities including bringing in new client business, managing new opportunities and growing existing accounts.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in selling custom automated solutions.
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience in the medical device and life sciences industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A highly motivated self-starter.
  • Willingness to travel within North America, up to 50% of the time.

EDUCATION

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Sales, Business, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred. At least five years of progressive sales experience, preferably in the medical device and life sciences industry.

Responsibilities
  • Market research and identification of target accounts in key target industry sub-segments and actively reaching out to prospective client contacts
  • Communicate Invio value proposition to clients through presentations
  • Develop an understanding of client needs through a consultative selling approach
  • Opportunity qualification
  • Maintenance of the sales CRM throughout the sales cycle
  • Manage opportunities utilizing the Invio sales process
  • Work with the client to gather all information needed by our Applications Engineering team to develop the proposal
  • Develop and execute the opportunity win strategy with input from applications engineering and management
  • Facilitate feedback from the client
  • Contract negotiations
  • Maintain regular contact and obtain feedback from the client through the course of the project/program
  • Develop an Account Plan to understand clients’ broader business needs and opportunities to serve them across multi-site/business units.
  • Work with our services group to ensure long-term client success by understanding their service and support needs and providing corresponding service offerings.
