SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE (SAAS) – MUNICIPAL & PUBLIC SECTOR

Location: Remote (Canada; USA)

Premergency builds and operates ALEN, a Moodle-based Learning & Talent platform delivered as SaaS. We serve public sector teams—especially small municipalities—and first-responder organizations that need practical compliance, training, scheduling, and skills tracking without enterprise bloat.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do

  • Own the municipal/public-sector new-logo motion: build ICP lists, sequence outreach, run discovery, and map decision processes (IT, HR, Fire/EMS, OH&S, Purchasing).
  • Demo & solution consult: show how ALEN software solves compliance training, session scheduling, and reporting pain in weeks, not quarters.
  • Proposal/RFP leadership: craft business cases, pricing, and T&Cs aligned to public-sector procurement (multi-year options, SLAs, data residency, accessibility).
  • Pilot-to-production playbooks: define success criteria, short pilots, and clean hand-offs to onboarding/support.
  • Forecast & hygiene in EspoCRM (pipeline accuracy, next steps, mutual close plans).
  • Partner internally with product & customer support to sharpen messaging, proof points, and references.
  • Territory planning: conferences, associations, and regional campaigns tailored to small-muni budgets and timelines

What you’ve done

  • 3+ years closing SaaS (or LMS/HR tech) deals with municipal/public sector or broader MUSH markets.
  • Proven full-cycle hunter: prospect → discovery → demo → proposal/RFP → close → expansion.
  • Comfort with public-sector procurement (RFPs, eval criteria, awards, renewals).
  • Strong discovery & value mapping—you translate compliance and training pain into clear ROI.
  • Excellent written comms (emails, proposals, RFP answers) and confident live demos (Zoom/Teams)
