Job Description: Details of the role and how it fits into the team Tech & FinTech Team is an growth area of the Corporate Bank Merchant Solutions / Cash Management with Sales and Advisory responsibility for the innovative and fast growth sector of FinTech, Platfrom, Digital Economy & MidCap Startup Clients thus the most innovative players as their strategic banking partner to support their business models and expansion plans. The working atmosphere is very open, international, creative and solution driven. Your key responsibilities You are responsible for sales and advisory to existing and new clients out of Tech & FinTech segment from our large and multinational clients based in Europe and Germany As Senior Sales you build and maintain strong relationships to our mostly international clients, develop deep understanding of client’s business models and ideas how to support them in their future growth, thus enable lasting clients success, this includes travel within EU once per month Sales & Advisory is done in close collaboration with teams around us e.g. Coverage, FX, Investment and Service areas as well as with our global branches Specifically the ever evolving and innovative area of payments, FX and liquidity management are focus for this role i.e. you are advising the clients on their main banking requirements for a long standing partnership With building solid understanding of trends and risks in the segment you will become a go to person for FinTech & Tech inquiries You will be part of a European Sales team with main hub in Berlin in close collaboration to our global team in US and Asia Your skills and experiences 3+ years of relevant experience in client related/ Sales roles in international context with curiosity and openness to constantly learn innovative ideas and passion for direct client contacts and sales good knowledge and high interest of trends in digital business models and platform space and product understanding (preferably in the payments / cash management space) Strong pro-active communication skills in building strong, long term value added relationships with clients and within the DB network globally through an international mind-set strong team-player with high performer and hands-on mind set for execution of internal projects and external client demands High motivation for the role, strong problem solving skills and ability to overcome challenges in a positive manner while adhering to deadlines and tight turnaround times Inter-cultural skills, English (negotiation level), German (advanced) What we offer We provide you with a comprehensive portfolio of benefits and offerings to support both, your private and professional needs.
