JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Time Senior Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. As a valued employee you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while driving sales and promoting our products. Your ability to engage with customers, understand their needs, and deliver tailored solutions will be key to your success. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail, a strong sense of style, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients. As a Senior Retail Sales Associate, you will also mentor and coach junior staff and contribute to a positive team environment. This is Full Time position that requires weekend availability.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a Retail Sales
  • Proven sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills (ipads, macbooks, POS systems, etc.)

Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, understanding their needs and budgets, and offering appropriate product recommendations.
  • Handle point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling, debit/credit transactions, basic math calculations, and ensure accurate record keeping.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure a visually appealing shopping experience.
  • Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in coaching new staff members on sales techniques, product knowledge, and store policies.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills by helping to oversee inventory levels and ensuring stock is replenished as needed.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills through effective phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Stay updated on current interior design trends.
  • Collaborate with management to meet and exceed sales goals.
