Description

We have an opportunity for a Senior Sales Consultant within Energy & Sustainability to join our team at Honeywell, in the London area , where you will proactively identify, develop, and manage a disciplined sales process from start to finish (Lead to PO). You will establish and develop strategic commercial relationships with key customers, by anticipating customers sustainability needs and requirements ensuring that the most compliant value proposition is set forth to meet every step of the way from sale to execution. The role will be expected to deliver strong profitable top line growth in the form of new customers acquisition and new opportunities.

KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within consultative selling, specifically within ESCO markets, showcasing a strong track record in selling Zero/Low-carbon solutions, Energy Efficiency, and Renewable Energy Solutions.
  • An understanding of Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) and financing schemes is essential. Candidates should also have an established network with key Industrial and manufacturing accounts across Europe, focusing on energy efficiency and decarbonization targets.
  • The ability to think strategically and creatively is crucial for producing compelling value propositions and effectively executing these propositions through to successful contract closure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are necessary, along with the capability to build credible business cases for engagement with C-level leaders, demonstrating a high “say-do” ratio in achieving results.
  • A high sense of urgency and agility is required to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a commitment to understanding and evaluating sustainability business cases and sales opportunities quickly.Demonstrates strong intellectual curiosity, excellent presentation skills, solid business and financial acumen, and an entrepreneurial mindset characterised by perseverance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilise ESCO market expertise, business development skills, and technical knowledge to deliver top-tier Energy Efficiency and Sustainability solutions to customers.
  • Build long-term relationships with new accounts, achieve sales targets, and act as a trusted advisor, particularly in a dynamic and matrixed corporate environment.
  • Possess knowledge of the strategic zero carbon drivers of both public and private customers, facilitate discussions that translate sustainability visions into viable business cases and financial requirements.
  • Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers within client organisations, collaborate with internal teams and external market facilitators to ensure high-quality proposals.A structured approach using a robust Management Operating System (MOS) is necessary to meet sales forecasting and reporting requirements promptly, ensuring coherence with overall business strategy.
